Slept in :) Got about 7-8 hours... felt good!
FOOD
Brunch: eggwhite omelette, tomatoes, a bite of his french toast (ok, 2 bites), some fruit
Snack: 3 chocolate truffles (220 calories of PURE HEAVEN)
Dinner: lobster tail, shrimp, spicy tuna, artichoke salad & a little chocolate mousse for dessert.
EXERCISE
I lost track of time & didn't go to the gym so I did a couple supersets of pushups, abs & squats at home before I got ready for dinner.

Slept in again :) 6-7 hours... ahhh...
FOOD
Brunch: salad with veggies & crabmeat and some fruit
Snack: 1/4 banana, some crackers
Snack: 2 scoops of ICE-CREAM in a waffle cone (1 scoop of cookies-n-cream, 1 scoop of mint chocolate chip... just in case you were wondering)
Dinner: 3 egg whites/1 whole egg & some jalapenos & tomatoes
Snack (?): Kashi peanut butter protein bar
EXERCISE
My goal was to hit the bigger muscle groups & burn calories since I've eaten pretty bad today... but I got started late so I didn't want to be in the gym too long. I did supersets of legs and shoulders (lunges/shoulder press/abs, squats/rear delts/abs) then hit the treadmill for 10 min. at an incline.
IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT WEEK...

Yes it will be a great week!! You are making me want to do a blog simply to keep up with exactly what I eat and do! I don't know if I'd be brave enough to publicize it, though! haha!
ReplyDeleteWhen you say "supersets" what do you mean? Also, I want to like eggs more than I do. Do you chop the jalepenos into your eggs? I LOVE spicy stuff, so I might actually enjoy them then! They taste so much like cardboard to me.....

I mean doing a set of one exercise immediately followed by a set of another exercise for a completely different muscle group... for example:
* lunges/shoulder press/ abs:
1 set of 20 reps lunges, followed by 1 set of 20 shoulder press, followed by 1 set of 30 crunches... Then repeat the sequence 3 times.
I really like supersets b/c it helps me keep MOVING and keep my heart rate up (since you go straight from one exercise to the next with no rest in between). It also helps you knock out your workout more quickly.
I like doing supersets with upper body/lower body because I feel like I get a high calorie burn. Or, I'll superset bis/tris one day b/c I can get my workout in pretty fast without resting in between.
Have I beat a dead horse on the supersets yet? :)
Ohhhh my gosh I love love LOVE eggs... :) I just take a jar of jalapeno slices and mix a bunch into my scrambled eggs right before i take them out of the skillet. Then I'll take some salsa and put it on top too for extra veggies & extra spicy! (You can get some really good natural salsa that doesn't have many preservatives)

ReplyDeleteYou know, I eat a lot more carbs than you do for breakfast... no wonder you're so fit! I should probably cut back.
